Hello! I'm Sheridan Parsons. I'm a writer and a website designer, and I'm passionate about property. I live with my husband Mike and my youngest son in a canalside home by Glascote Locks in Tamworth. I am a Canal and River Trust volunteer, so I'm often out and about in my CRT gear with a windlass or a litter picker.

I'm a bit quirky, in fact I'm quite public about the fact that I am presumed to have Asperger’s, although I’ve never been officially diagnosed.

I was an estate agent in the 1980s, and ran my own little estate agency from 2021 to 2023 (now closed). For a long time now, I've been helping people to find their dream home, and many of my followers have successfully bought a property which they found through me.

In my spare time I write books about local history, family history, and the home. My husband Mike has written some murder mysteries based on the canals, which you'll find on the same link.
