The Ducks are back!
The ducks are back! Join me for a taste of canalside life.
It has been great to see the boats back on the Coventry Canal this week. This morning the ducks were back too! It was lovely to watch them waddling across my driveway to be fed. We have recently heard that the lady who used to live in our house fed the ducks so conscientiously that at times there were up to 40 ducks waiting to be fed. Apparently they used to cross the road when she whistled for them. The owners of Bottom Lock Cottage feed the ducks too, in fact, they have nicknamed them the 'rudder ducks' as they hang about near their rudder, of course!
